Are you motivated for your wellness? According to positive psychology, motivation reflects something unique about each one of us and allows us to gain valued outcomes like improved performance, enhanced wellbeing, personal growth, or a sense of purpose. Motivation is a pathway to change our way of thinking, feeling, and behaving. The benefits of motivation are visible in how we live our lives. As we are constantly responding to changes in our environment, we need motivation to take corrective action in the face of fluctuating circumstances. Motivation is a vital resource that allows us to adapt, function productively, and maintain wellbeing in the face of a constantly changing stream of opportunities and threats. Motivation is a force that drives an individual’s willingness for behavior modification for wellness improvement. Each individual is accountable for his/her wellness. Wellbeing begins with health. This formula is very simple and meaningful - Health = “1” and Wealth = endless of “0”s after it, as $1,000,000,000…… In good health, you should be able to work and build your wealth without limit. However, without health, when the “1” is lost, then the all “0”s becomes worthless. Hope you are motivated in enhancing healthy life style with best effort.
